4 Steps to Whiter Teeth

1 – Regular Dental Appointments – Make regular check-ups with your dentist as this can lead to spotting sources of bacteria growing within your gums or teeth. Also regular cleaning appointments can whiten teeth by removing a lot of the stains on the teeth.

 

2 – Brush teeth thoroughly twice a day – Don’t skip out on flossing at least once a day. While brushing removes some of the stains, flossing removes the bacteria growing on the hard-to-reach places of the teeth which can eat away at your teeth and leave a nasty mark.

 

3 – Avoid these teeth staining agents:

  • Coffee
  • Tea
  • Various Berries (incl. blackberries, raspberries, blueberries)
  • Pomegranate
  • Soda
  • Smoking
  • Wine
  • Citric acid and acidic foods

 

4 – Use whitening strips and whitening toothpaste. There’s a special reason why they have the name “whitening” in them.
