Eligibility: To be eligible, you must be an incoming or current freshman, sophomore, or junior in Dentistry or a Dentistry-related major.

Conditions of award
Any persons employed by (company), including family members/friends of persons employed by (company), are not eligible for the Dr. Sid Solomon DDS Dream Big, Smile Big Dental Scholarship. Qualified applicants must be an incoming freshman or student enrolled and attending an accredited college. See below for details.
Must be a current high school student with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0-point scale, must be graduating with high school diploma or GED by the end of the 2015/16 school year, and must be attending an accredited college or university during the Fall 2016 semester.
Freshman, sophomores, and juniors
Must have a cumulative college GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0-point scale or a pass/no pass grading system. You must currently be enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited college, junior college, or university for the upcoming Fall 2016 semester.
Eligible participants must be current students or admitted incoming freshmen to an accredited college listed on the U.S. Department of Education’s official website. Transfer students are eligible, upon confirmation of the destination school’s accreditation.
Description of scholarship funds
The winner will receive a one-time $750 scholarship to be applied toward qualified expenses toward higher education. The funds will be sent to the Financial Aid office of the institution designated by the winner.
Scholarship winner selection
The winner of Dr. Sid Solomon DDS “Dream Big, Smile Big” Dental Scholarship will be decided based upon the quality of their essay, as judged by the scholarship committee. Applicants will be judged on insight, creativity, and authenticity. Real-world citations and examples always support ideas, so be sure to include your sources in your entry. Entries must be postmarked by January 22,2016; no applications postmarked after that date will be accepted. Winners will be announced January 27, 2016.
