Yes, you have found the best place for therapeutic Botox because your dentist has the most experience with injections for the face.

Dr. Sid Solomon specializes in using BOTOX® to treat headaches, jaw tension and TMJ (temporo-mandibular joint) disorders. Dr. Solomon is a neuromuscular dentist with expertise in the muscles and nerves of the head, face and neck.  At all of our 3 locations, Dr. Solomon offers a variety of facial pain treatments including Botox within the scope of dentistry. During a  Botox consultation, Dr. Solomon will educate the patient on both the therapeutic and cosmetic effects of Botox.. Our professionally trained doctor will carefully administer small injections directly into the area you’d like to improve. If you have sensitive facial areas, we’ll be happy to apply an ice pack or anesthetic cream to the area that we will be working on. The  treatments will feel similar to a pinch.  We will go over proper home care and after care methods with you to ensure the best possible outcome for your treatment.

What is BOTOX® ?

Botox® is a simple, nonsurgical, physician-administered treatment that can temporarily smooth moderate to severe frown lines between the brows in patients from 18 to 65 years of age. It is the only treatment of its type which is approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).  Botox® is a purified protein produced by the Clostridium botulinum bacterium, which reduces the activity of the muscles that cause facial pain.

How long does treatment take and how long does it last?

A thorough dental consultation, one 10-minute treatment, a few tiny injections, and within days there’s a noticeable improvement lasting up to 4 months. Patients treated with therapeutic Botox report a decrease in headaches, grinding and facial pain accompanied by reduction in wrinkles of the areas treated.
